ELAS is an alliance of women in the electronic arts.

An exchange network with focus in empower and give visibility to electronic artists through events, mentoring, talks and workshops.



We aim to make our community strong, raising awareness regarding gender gaps in the industry.



The origins of the project came from the pioneer Femelek Festival . women, art and technology, that took place in Barcelona from 2006 to 2011, curated by Marise Cardoso (music) and Alba G. Corral (visuals). 

FEMELEK has encouraged and programed more than 100 female artists in the fields of arts, technology, music, visual arts, robotics being the first festival in Spain with a 100% female line up. Gender nonconforming artists and women with cultural backgrounds, artistic influences, styles and working methods, working side by side with astonishing results. 

15 years later, despite of the increasing in the number of artists in the field, we still fighting for gender equality, diversity and inclusion.



And is only through alliances we will achieve the changes we deserve and need.

ELAS é uma aliança de mulheres nas artes eletrônicas.

Uma rede de intercâmbio com foco em capacitar e dar visibilidade a artistas eletrônicas através de eventos, mentorias, palestras e workshops. 

O objetivo é fortalecer nossa comunidade, aumentando a conscientização sobre as disparidades de gênero na indústria.

FEMELEK incentivou e programou mais de 100 artistas femininas nas áreas das música, artes visuais, robótica e um largo etc, sendo o primeiro festival 100% feminino na Espanha. Artistas mulheres e indivídues não binárias com culturas, influências artísticas, estilos e métodos de trabalho diferentes, trabalhando lado a lado com resultados surpreendentes.

15 anos depois, apesar do aumento do número de artistas na área, continuamos a lutar pela igualdade de género, diversidade e inclusão. 



E só através de alianças alcançaremos as mudanças que merecemos e precisamos.
